11th and 12th Tees
Etiquette/Order of play on the course

Diary Event

The 11th/12th tee boxes have long been a source of considerable debate/angst.
Who should have "Right of way"? What are the implications of stipulating this?

The GC have decided that:-
“Normal Golf Etiquette and Common Sense should prevail” but all players must be vigilant and take care.
The advice would be to watch carefully the groups teeing off in this area and make it your responsibility to keep all players safe.
There will be new signage on the tee boxes to make both visitors and members aware of this in due course.

Please take care also when approaching the 13th Green. The 14th tee should be in your thoughts!

We could site many other possible "Pinch points". Suffice it to say that the Health and Safety of others should be paramount in your thoughts on every drive and approach shot. It is after all the very nature of the game that we think of those in front, behind and all around us!

General Note:-

Our course is very "Compact". Less than 90 acres! We do have tees and greens that are close together. History shows that efforts have been made to lessen the "dangers" for participants but this can never be perfect! We feel that "Golfers" know the "risks" of the game and should take care at all times on all holes! We urge you to shout "Fore" clearly and loudly should you hit an errant shot.

If you do have any particular thoughts please feel free to send them through to:-
